A Quick Way to Keep Hunger at Bay: Hill Farm’s Campsite Food Truck (Sam’s Snacks)

Drooling? You should be because, Sam… She cooks up a storm!

It’s here! 

We’ve been dreaming up having a food truck at Hill Farm for the best part of a year and in true Hill Farm style it’s happened and happened SO well. 

Sam, who runs the food truck is our lovely ice-cream lady who visits the site throughout the summer, because Hill Farm is the best to be, she decided to stay with us permanently and run our food truck!

But don’t worry the ice-cream truck will still be here EVERYDAY throughout the summer! 

The campsite food truck offers everything from a nice cup of tea to a breakfast cob or a Full English this can be delivered to your accommodation or pitch - so you don’t even need to get out of your toasty sleeping bag to enjoy a cuppa!

The campsite food truck serves snacks throughout the day, a selection of paninis and pastries. Then the evening menu is a tasty selection of loaded burgers, hot dogs, loaded fries, kebabs and jacket potatoes.

All your food needs are covered. 

Opening hours: 

Low season 8am-12noon 5pm-7.30pm

Summer season 7.30am-1pm    5pm-9pm

Our campsite Food Truck kebabs are now famous and you can order a sausage and bacon cob with a side of tea to your tent or pod in the morning!

I REALLY recommend the kebabs. If you’re staying for a few nights - truly, lucky you for getting to try the whole menu! It’s divine.

👌 All our lights around the pods and gazebos are currently solar and don’t work 24/7 in winter. We know this has been a let-down for some guests. SO we are going electric with lights — everything will be lit up all the time in the winter. 

😆 All pods have mains electric (not solar), we have 4 bell tents left to do. 

⛺️ We are adding 2 more standard bell tents to our site this year - you can book them for Download 2025, contact me directly to secure them. 

🌮 SAY HELLO to a street food van this year. We will be releasing more details later in the year, menu’s, opening dates and times etc — watch this space.
